How do I wash my body shaper?

Hand wash your trainer in cold water or wash in gentle cycle in cold water. Do Not put in dryer! Lay flat to dry.

Air Dry your trainer at the end of the day. Never hang on or near a heat source as over time this will cause shrinkage and eventual damage to the stitching!

How often should I wear my body shaper?

It is recommended to wear your waist trainer 1 – 2 hours a day for the first few days and then you can increase these intervals up to 4 hours then move onto 8 – 10 hours as you progress and feel comfortable. It is NEVER recommended to rush this process as you may experience discomfort, so it is always best to take it slow to begin with and to monitor yourself.

What if my body shaper feels too tight?

body shapers are meant to be tight. We advise you to have someone with you to assist you in getting into the core trainer as it can be tricky at the beginning. The body shaperr will be tight when you first start wearing it and will start to engage your core and shape your waist. Over time you will find it will feel more comfortable as it shapes you.

How do I know what size I am?

When selecting your size on our website www.truebodybysio.com, please remember to select it based on waist measurements NOT clothing size.

The most reliable method to choosing the correct size waist trainer is to measure your waist right above your navel and refer to the size chart on each product page to find the corresponding size. It is recommended that if your hips are wider than your waist, that you go up a size. Please note different product have different size charts.

Measure around your lower abdomen just below your belly button for your waist measurements.

Measure around your hips, making sure to measure the widest part.
